Cinderella City Demolition, Remediation, and Site Redevelopment

Project Description: E-21 provided demolition services across 2-million square feet at the Cinderella City Shopping Mall and surrounding concrete parking structures. Work included measurement and estimation of in-place concrete volumes, structural engineering evaluation of columns damaged during demolition, and quantification of recycled concrete stockpiles.
McLellan Properties Development

Project Description: E-21 provided complete permitting and construction services for the overlot grading and construction of storm sewers for the development of six large parcels of land totaling approximately 120 acres. The properties are located immediately around the intersection of Colorado Highway C-470 and Lucent Boulevard. Work included filling and grading a site for the proposed RTD Light Rail Station at Highlands Ranch.
E-21 obtained stormwater and grading permits from the State of Colorado and Douglas County, excavation and export of 370,000 cubic yards of excess soil, excavation and compacted placement of 230,000 cubic yards and construction services. This multi-million dollar project also included installation of 36-inch storm sewers up to 35-feet deep and installing a 30-inch PVC storm pipe under Lucent Boulevard by trenchless boring methods.
City Park South Redevelopment

Project Description: E-21 provided site redevelopment and earthwork services to several prime contractors for a two-block area at the southeast corner of the intersection of 17th Avenue and Fillmore Street in Denver and on the south side of Denver’s City Park. Work included the excavation and backfilling of foundations associated with previously existing structures, engineering of building support for buildings located proximal to the redeveloped area, mass excavation and export for underground parking garages, subgrade over-excavation and recompacting, backfilling, final grading to plans, and ancillary support for complete area redevelopment.
E-21 also provided demolition services and storm water permitting and other services to the site developer under several separate contacts at this site.
